Barcelona's transfer priorities for the remainder of the summer are becoming increasingly clear. According to Mundo Deportivo, the club is not currently looking to strengthen the midfield, with all efforts focused on other key positions.
STRIKER REMAINS THE ABSOLUTE PRIORITY
The Blaugrana's main objective is to sign a new centre-forward. Sporting director Deco continues to work on attacking reinforcements, with Barcelona determined to add a striker who fits Hansi Flick's system. The club remains focused on this position before considering other areas of the squad.
A CENTRE-BACK COULD ALSO ARRIVE
Alongside the search for a striker, Barcelona are also open to signing a central defender if the right market opportunity arises. However, that will depend on the club's financial situation and whether a suitable deal becomes available before the transfer window closes.
GORETZKA IS NOT A PRIORITY
With the midfield already well covered, Barcelona are not prioritising a move for Leon Goretzka at this stage. Unless circumstances change significantly, the German midfielder is not among the club's immediate transfer objectives as the sporting department concentrates on strengthening more urgent positions.
