Dušan Vlahović's future is expected to be resolved within the first week of August, with the Serbian striker entering a decisive period after weeks of speculation surrounding his next destination.

According to 📰 SPORT, Vlahović has now received a second improved offer from Beşiktaş, who remain determined to convince the free-agent striker to move to Turkey. The latest proposal reportedly includes a two-year contract along with a signing bonus, reflecting the Turkish club's growing efforts to secure one of the biggest names still available on the market.

Barcelona Remain His Priority

Despite Beşiktaş's persistence, the report claims Vlahović has not changed his stance.

The 26-year-old is still holding onto his ambition of wearing the Barcelona shirt and is prepared to wait a little longer before making a final decision. While Barça have yet to submit an official offer, the striker reportedly believes a move to the Catalan club remains possible if the right conditions emerge during the final weeks of the transfer window.

Willing to Lower His Salary

One of the biggest obstacles in any potential deal has been Vlahović's financial demands.

However, SPORT reports that the Serbian international is now ready to reduce his salary expectations if Barcelona decide to move forward with a proposal. That represents a significant shift compared to earlier stages of the summer, when his wage package and signing bonus were considered difficult for Europe's top clubs to match.

Barcelona's Situation

Barcelona continue to evaluate several attacking options before making a final decision on whether to sign another striker.

With Hansi Flick planning for both the immediate future and the post-Robert Lewandowski era, the club has been linked with multiple centre-forwards throughout the summer. Vlahović's status as a free agent makes him an attractive opportunity from a transfer-fee perspective, but any deal would still need to fit within Barça's financial framework and wage structure.

For now, the ball remains in Barcelona's court. Beşiktaş have already placed an improved offer on the table, but Vlahović appears willing to delay his decision a little longer in the hope that his dream move to Camp Nou becomes a reality.
